Imagine a parent thrilled to see their children love and protect as one. I can only imagine what our Father feels when He sees His children do the same. Until we are one…

Ephesians 4:13…until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Unity is good. I agree, but I prefer not to compromise with the devil.

There are very few times when I wish I lived in California, mainly when I see you guys having events like the one you spoke at yesterday.

Unity is tragically lacking among believers, yet we should be unified as one Body with Christ as our Head. As believers we have a mutual mission: to go into the world and preach the Gospel, making disciples in the name of Christ.

Erwin Lutzer has a great book "We Will Not Be Silenced" talking about how Christians should approach the times in which we are living. Another book "Why Social Justice is Not Biblical Justice" by Scott David Allen explains how the social justice movement greatly goes against the Bible. Both urge Christians to unity through Christ and are worth the read.

Thank you for your encouragement!

@LetsBeBetter Will, thanks for being on GETTR and easy to follow. I just posted an article admonishing Americans to become unified. There is a very real movement in our country to move from the monologue of network news to understand our culture to a dialogue through uncensored communication. Good job keeping your faith in front and the center of your writing.

I think what’s so good about this is that God is showing us in these verse’s that there is much purpose He has set in each individual. We can consider ourselves big or small depending on what society thinks and it’s all backwards. Each person has a station so to speak to fulfill of what God wants us to do and that shouldn’t be taken lightly. If we can learn that, the importance is so great on each of us. But we all need each other to carry out the glory of God. I have been having this pressing concern to get back to constant prayer. That heavy prayer is needed. I’m a work animal and I’ll discuss with people major topics of the world. But I’ll admit, over the years I’ve not been as good at prayer because of life’s circumstances and it gets to the point of what do you even say or ask anymore. But God keeps telling me, that doesn’t matter. I think He wants my total commitment to investing time in prayer. He wants me to pray no matter what happens. 💕

In the end God wins, this has helped me realize that we need to make haste. There is no time to lose, we can win back with love but it requires us to work together, something we are not doing.

Thank you so much Will, I know for me this is incredibly helpful. Is there anything I can do to help you?

I left the United Methodist Church because it became a shill for leftist policies and dogma. There are some "Christians" who want nothing to do with the actual teachings of Christ because it means calling out sin, and that makes many in their congregations uncomfortable. I am with you, but I think your call for unity will fall on many deaf ears in when it comes to many of the more recognized denominations.
