A few days ago, a video surfaced of San Francisco mayor London Breed partying at a night club without a mask on. She is seen dancing and singing along to music in a large crowd of fellow partygoers despite the city’s ordinance for indoor mask wearing. But before we judge, let’s look at the situation. I’m sure it was just an honest mistake… there’s no way she would break the same rules she put into place in the city she manages, right? She was most likely just having a drink… or wanted to show everyone she knew all the words to the song that was playing… I’m sure there is an explanation! I know for a fact there is no way our leaders are just gallivanting as altruistic, gracious leaders as a facade. The mayor of San Francisco really cares about me and my health and just wants what’s best for me, right?
Right?
Wrong. Anyone with a semblance of common sense has already come to the realization that our public officials are more akin to overlords and tyrants than an actual helpful force for safety and the public’s wellbeing. If the mayor of San Francisco cared about her people, she would clean up the streets by funding public works. She would put an end to the ridiculous Zero Bail policy. She would stop incentivizing homelessness and drug abuse in her city. But she doesn’t do any of these things. It’s not for a lack of knowing the solutions or having the answers; it’s because then she couldn’t persist in her authority as the moral gatekeeper of San Francisco. And she is not alone in this mindset. Thousands of elitist bureaucrats across the country have the exact same mentality. They have convinced themselves that they are above the very laws and mandates they have instituted and thus no longer even see the evil and immorality in their own hypocrisy.
Not wearing a mask is an unforgivable sin according to your every day Twitter leftist and activist Starbucks employee, but when it comes to the elites in this country, we have to remember they play by different rules. The rules they impose aren’t meant for them and their cohorts; they are meant for the peasant class. They are meant for the sheep who will blindly follow their draconian measures without a second thought. They are meant for the people who they only have to interact with at cheap photo ops and pandering events to get reelected. In a historical context, this type of behavior from the ruling class is not uncommon in sick societies. Just as London Breed knew she was being filmed without her mask on and didn't care, the elites throughout history have had the same contempt for the plebeians they reside over.
If the French Revolution taught us anything, it is that when the leaders of a citizenry live decadent lifestyles exploiting the general population, things usually go sour for the society as a whole. When the Parisian peasants walked by the aristocracy’s homes and saw their “leaders” getting drunk and partying luxuriously while they were taxed to death to pay for these soirees, it boiled inside these men an urge for revolution. And that is exactly what happened. The people rose up, the ruling class was chastised, and in a matter of months the monarchy’s heads no longer rested on opulent pillows in grand bedrooms; they were set on spikes after being chopped off by the guillotine.
I do not think America will get to a place so violent and cruel, but I’d be lying if I said I didn't see things getting uglier. When we can no longer trust the integrity of our elections and our public officials and bureaucracy care nothing about the people they represent, and then live hypocritical lives with no remorse, you are in essence turning your people against the very authority that was supposed to stop this type of inequality in the first place.
Your only choice out of this is to not comply with their tyranny. When the people stop living by the tenets of these new self proclaimed deities and start living by the rules of God and their own individuality, only then can we improve our lot. When the elites realize they can no longer whip us into submission to serve as their conduits for more power and wealth, only then will America return to the place it once was. A place where the greedy and evil and diabolical were afraid to show their faces.

It sickens me to see the hypocrisy of people like the mayor of San Francisco. Rules for thee and not for me!
And she's def not the only governor to disobey their own rules. Newsom went out to fancy restaurants while he was making indoor dining not allowed for all of us - such a double standard
