For the last two years, our country has been in a state of mass hysteria. Whether it was the issue of Black Lives Matter, Coronavirus, or now the invasion of Ukraine, every single issue has been talked about in apocalyptic terms and with gargantuan fear propaganda tactics. No longer are we allowed to have thoughtful discussions about what must be done during any given situation, we must now speak only in terms of othering the opposing side and stoking terror in the populous. With Black Lives Matter and George Floyd, you were a horrible racist if you looked at the facts of the situation and didn't bend over backwards for the rioters and looters. With Covid, if you even questioned vaccine or mask efficacy you were somehow responsible for killing every grandma in America. Now with Ukraine, if you have your doubts about the truth of this conflict and the interests of those involved you are a “shill for Putin” and “unpatriotic.”
All of this begs the question, what will the next outrage be? Climate change, cyber warfare, maybe the federal reserve? Whatever it is, you can be sure the issue will be politicized into the next big moral trend that once again silences any opposition.
When it comes to Ukraine, we can be sure of one thing: death and suffering are a terrible tragedy. No one in their right mind should be wishing any sort of pain on Ukrainian civilians, and it is just and moral to feel for them. But what about the Russian citizens who are now suffering due to the West’s ostracizing of them? Should we not care about them? The answer should be obvious: we should care about the suffering of innocent civilians no matter where they are. But the elites in Washington with their bloodlust don’t seem to care about them at all. We have seen these same types of sanctions and foreign policy decisions made in Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela, implemented with the hopes that the average person in those countries would overthrow their rulers when things got so terrible. But they have all been blunders and failures, and have only ended up hurting the very people we claimed to try and protect. The American elite don’t really care about any of these citizens overseas, is it any shock they also don’t seem to care about the citizens of the United States, the same people they claim to represent?
For a country 5,000 miles away, the DC crowd is willing to throw America into a war with Russia, sending our men and women to die needlessly and in turn economically strangling the country back home. They may not be saying this out all out loud yet, but they are all thinking it, as we have seen this same song and dance routine in America before. Despite massive amounts of warmongering rhetoric and propaganda coming out of both Ukraine and Russia, the American elite are ready to risk real war and real consequences for a corrupt and lying Zelensky without weighing any of the costs the American people will have to bear. The price of gas just hit its highest average cost in American history, food costs are sharply on the rise, and it will only get worse as America and the West elevate tensions with Russia. None of this matters to Republicans and Democrats in Congress with defense contractor money and salaries funded by taxpayers, but the average American will soon feel the very real squeeze of these despot’s arrogance and avarice. The bottom line is that the bureaucrats in Washington care nothing about you, they aren’t doing any of this for moral reasons, and they want complete dominion over you, your finances, your identity, and your mind. This latest crisis is just more of the same moral outrage we have seen time and time again, and my skepticism and mistrust of the American system is at an all time high.
If you want my very honest opinion, I worry about the future of my country. I don’t worry about Russia attacking us, or Covid, or some other crisis; I worry about the way the American media and politicians have destroyed us from within. It is a comforting thought to know that some husband and wife who don’t read the news in rural Idaho have probably lived their lives nearly unchanged these last two years, but for the rest of us, the brainwashing and manipulation has been very real. I worry about our country’s priorities. I worry about the strength of our people. I worry about the preservation of our sacred rights and history. With this flurry of news, opinions, and “experts,” I can say with absolute certainty I don’t know what the future holds, but I can say that the narcissism of our elites acting like they know everything without hesitation is what is driving these crises. So my stance on all of this is clear: I put the American people before anything else, and however we can best protect our God given rights and freedom is my top priority. The American people view God differently than anywhere else in the world, where we know above all else that God wants us to be free. I would die for God, I would die for freedom, I would die for my family, and I would die for America and the West. If you ask me to put my life on the line for someone else’s lies and greed, you can count me and every real patriot out. If these elites want to fight these wars so badly, why don’t they put their money where their mouths are and fight them on the front lines themselves. The “deplorables” are done.

Very well written, so many solid points. It’s crazy to me to see how the media is all in on supporting Ukraine without realizing that they’re not perfect either. Any time I see such a huge push in support of any of these causes it makes me hesitant to believe we know the whole story (which I know we rarely do). Everything that has been happening over the last two years has been easily predictable and even now the current events are going to play right in to their climate change hysteria and push us closer to socialism. It worries me too. Keep sharing the truth and keep fighting Will!
As always, you are spot on!!! You speak exactly as I feel in my heart!!! Keep on keeping on, Will! Be blessed my young friend!!!
