The Republican Party is absolutely tearing itself apart at the seams. If you like Trump, according to the DeSantis group you are a brainwashed cult follower. If you like DeSantis, you are apparently a RINO and a sellout. Both are nonsense. It has been no secret I have liked what I have seen DeSantis do here in the state of Florida with strong conservative principles. My newspaper
Well said Will, you are absolutely right. We should do our homework and look at each candidate for ourselves and not rely on what you hear on the news or read in a newspaper. Look at your candidates by their actions in the past and what they hold for America in the future. Look to preserve our Constitutional rights and freedoms, and way of life.

Very well expressed. I just don’t understand why we have to try to destroy one over the other. They both have their strengths and actually fighting for the same thing...to keep freedoms and follow the Constitution.
This has been exactly my fear. I’m originally from Canada and in the last federal election, we saw this problem occur. Two conservative parties ran, the vote was split (instead of everyone rallying behind one) and they still ended up with a Liberal minority government. We all know how that has played out since with Trudeau. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough and am now loving Tampa, Florida!
Thank you for exhorting us: "When will I put God above political party and find the courage through him to live the life I should? " Our hope is not in our political system, it is in the saving rescue of salvation in Jesus Christ. I am saddened by the conduct of our leaders in the Republican party, but even more so in professing believers who use "unwholesome" talk in their discussions. This is our opportunity as believers to influence our world in a winsome way that glorifies God.
